CHINA TOURIST VISA FOR FOREIGNERS IN VIETNAM 2020

All foreigners who are living in Vietnam can get a China Tourist Visa if they can meet the requirements from the Consulate/ Embassy of China. However, before get start and prepare documents, you sould check whether you need to get a visa not here. And the good news for the applicants is that they do not have to wait for a long time at the China Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City. So where you can apply the visa instead of China Consulate? CHINA TOURIST VISA AND ITS VALIDITY  

  • Tourist Visa (L)
  • Issued to those who intend to go to China for touring and sightseeing
  • The visa is valid for 3 months, single entry, duration of stay is up to 30 days

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR TOURIST VISA APPLYING IN VIETNAM

  1. Original passport with at least six months of remaining validity and with at least 2 pieces of blank visa page;
  2. 3 passport photos in 4×6 cm size must be taken within the last 6 months (full face, bare head, clear and white background)
  3. A valid Vietnam Temporary Residence Card (TRC) or Vietnam business, working or tourist visa;
  4. Work Permit or Work Permit exemption certificate (if any)
  5. Hotel reservation (if any)
  6. Flight ticket booking (if any)

In case of applicants are under 18 years old, they need to submit additional documents:

  1. Birth certificate (in Vietnamese, English or Chinese);
  2. Marriage certificate of their parents (in Vietnamese, English or Chinese);
  3. If a child go with only mother or father, please provide an Authorization letter
  4. If a child go with other (for example: teacher,…), please provide a Power of attorney from the parents

There are 2 visa centers for China visa application; foreigners staying in Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Da Nang can apply for Chinese visa themselves

  • Submission of applications: 9:00 to 15:00 – Payment and collection: 9:00 to 15:00

  • Business hours: Monday-Friday, Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
  • Submission of applications: 9:00 to 15:00 – Payment and collection: 9:00 to 15:00
